What is Woman of the Hour?

Woman of the Hour is a blog located on LiveJournal (because Claire doesn't really know how to work MySpace) and on MySpace (because we figured everything has a MySpace these days and Liza's not so bad in that department) in which Claire and Liza will post their conversations/ramblings on nothing in particular, but with scattered focuses on their lives, the various television shows that they watch, and the band Simple Plan.

Why did we start Woman of the Hour?

After a great long time of speculating that our conversations are just too good to not share them with the rest of the world, we decided that we SHOULD share these conversations with the rest of the world. Or, well, at least with anyone who's interested enough to stumble on over here and read this blog.

Have you ever heard of Man of the Hour?

Actually, we have, and that is entirely how we came up with the decision to make Woman of the Hour. For the longest time, we would jokingly remark that our conversations sort of resemble those that Patrick and Sebastien have on their Man of the Hour radio show--we've even decided which of us is which (Claire's Patrick, Liza's Sebastien). About the start of MOTH Season Five, we decided, hell, why not create our own blog just for fun? Sure, a the choice was also propelled a little by the fact that Patrick and Sebastien referenced us in one of their MOTH vlogs (oh yeah, it happened), but that's really of no importance, we just like to mention it. So, here we are. And we in no way claim to be affiliated with Man of the Hour--we're doing this strictly for fun.
